The MAAGAP team showed that its flair goes beyond issuances and claims when one of its own emerged victorious on stage.
Singing Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin, MAAGAP’s Maristela Magugat bested 17 other contestants in the Philippine Insurers Club’s (PIC) Idol singing contest. It was this final performance that sealed her win, following her journey from the auditions, eliminations, finals, and finally, the Top Three, where she ultimately brought home the title for MAAGAP Insurance.
This year marks PIC Idol’s return after a seven-year hiatus. PIC regularly conducts activities to help foster fellowship and engagement among industry professionals, and Idol was brought back to celebrate talent beyond the workplace.
Maris is part of MAAGAP’s Alternative Distribution and Partnerships team. She is in charge of partnership development, helping to expand MAAGAP’s product distribution of customized and innovative insurance packages through the digital sphere and brick-and-mortar stores. Her win reflects her passion and dedication to both MAAGAP and her natural talent for hitting the right notes. She joined MAAGAP late last year, but prior to entering the workforce, she was an active band member who sang at various events, showcasing her love for music even during her collegiate years.
