As part of its commitment to making insurance more accessible to underserved communities, MAAGAP Insurance recently presented its Kalinga ni Inay package to the Solo Parents Association of Guiguinto, Bulacan. This activity gathered the leaders from various barangays representing solo parents to provide them with an overview of the program and how it can help strengthen the financial protection of solo-parent families.
Kalinga ni Inay was especially designed for single mothers to address their unique needs. For an annual premium starting at ₱500, it provides affordable yet meaningful protection by covering Accidental Medical Reimbursements, Daily Hospital Allowance, Cash Assistance Benefit and a Child Educational Fund for up to four children. These are complemented by Accidental Death and Disablement Benefits, helping solo parents better prepare for life’s unexpected challenges while securing their children’s future.
Designed as an affinity program for groups, sectors, and associations, Kalinga ni Inay also supports the objectives of Republic Act No. 11861, which strengthens and expands the rights, benefits, and support available to solo parents in the Philippines. With minimal enrollment requirements and easy-to-understand coverage, the program makes insurance more accessible to those who need it most.
Through initiatives such as its engagement with the Solo Parents Association of Guiguinto, MAAGAP Insurance continues to raise awareness of affordable insurance solutions and empower communities with practical financial protection.
